HAPPY BIRTHDAY CATWALK BOUTIQUE
Great Barrington, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
This year, Berkshire Humane Society’s resale shop, Catwalk Boutique, turns 4 years old. The shop specializes in like-new, gently used hip and stylish women’s fashion, from evening wear to active wear, including jewelry, hand bags, and other accessories. All proceeds from the shop benefit homeless animals. Catwalk’s birthday will be celebrated with cake and refreshments.

‘CURTIS ON TOUR'
Great Barrington, 7 p.m.
“Curtis on Tour” returns to New England for its inaugural performance in the intimate Saint James Place sanctuary Wednesday, July 25, 7:00pm. The performance features an extraordinary classic string program performed by distinguished Curtis Institute President Roberto Diaz and Curtis students, who are about to emerge onto the world stage. This performance honors the generous support from the Jane and Jack Fitzpatrick Trust in the restoration of the 1857 church into Saint James Place. In its first season, the classical music presented in SJPs’ restored sanctuary space has been compared to the original sound for which the music was written. For tickets, visit the website. AMERICAN SONGBOOK SERIES
Great Barrington, 7 p.m.
Harvey Granat, singer and a historian of The American Songbook, will perform a four-part series at Berkshire South Regional Community Center on 15 Crissey Road. Billed as an homage to the Golden Age of Broadway, the four performances will pay tribute to a specific composer or lyricist who contributed to Broadway's most fertile period.  July 19 celebrates Rodgers and Hammerstein; July 26 is devoted to Stephen Sondheim; Aug. 2 will feature Frank Loesser's work; and the last date on Aug. 9 honors Jerry Herman. MOONLIGHT CANOE TRIP
Becket, 7:30-10 p.m.
Twilight is an amazing time to listen and look for wildlife. Herons, loons, beavers, owls, and other wildlife are all possible at Buckley Dunton Lake in October Mountain State Forest. We’ll stealthily explore the coves and inlets of this beautiful lake, then hitch our boats together to enjoy snacks and beverages while we listen for nocturnal wildlife sounds. BIDWELL HOUSE FAMILY TOUR
Monterey, 2 p.m.
The Bidwell House Museum will offer a Family Tour designed for families with children 12 and under.  This new tour will explore the Bidwell House from the perspective of Adonijah Bidwell’s children, who would have been the first youngsters to live in the house. Using games, conversations and activities, this interactive walk through the house will teach visitors how people lived in the Berkshires hundreds of years ago while also finding connections to life today. The fee for this tour is the same as general admission, $10 adults, $8 seniors, $5 student 13-18, free for children 12 and under.

'SPEAKING CROSSWORDESE'
Sandisfield, 10:30 a.m.
Michelle Arnot, author of "Crossword Puzzles for Dummies" and "Four-Letter Words: Secrets of a Crossword Insider," will host a morning of coffee and crosswords at the Sandisfield Arts Center. The event is free but reservations are recommended at www.sandisfieldartscenter.org. Arnot will introduce the basic principles of American crossword puzzle construction, and peek behind the scenes at crossword puzzle development at the New York Times and the puzzles of the annual American Crossword Puzzle Tournament.

FREDERICK MOYER ON PIANO
Sandisfield, 8 p.m.
In celebration of its newly donated and refurbished Steinway piano, the Sandisfield Arts Center will present the internationally-known pianist Frederick Moyer performing a piano recital.  Tickets are $20 and available online. Moyer will perform a program including works by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Gershwin and Oscar Peterson.
