NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Deshawn Hamlett scored 13 points Thursday to lead Outlook Builders/Pizza House to a 58-50 win over Kingsbread/Flynn & Dagnoli in the championship game of the John Giorgi Summer Basketball League Men's Division.
In the Women's Division, Teddy's Pizza defeated the Hoosac Women, 40-30, behind 10 points apiece for Peyton Steinman and Grace Guachione.
Guachione grabbed seven rebounds, and MVP Hollie Steinman had eight points and eight rebounds.
For the Hoosac Women, Emily Rosse led the way with a game-high 11 points, and Mckenzie Robinson scored 10. Kayla Hotaling had seven points, eight rebounds and a pair of blocks.
Hamlett was named MVP of the Men's Division final after pulling down seven rebounds and blocking two shots to go with his 13.
Khalil Paul scored 12, and David Vidal and Brendan Kordana each had 10 in the win.
Kingsbread's Sedale Jones scored a game-high 18. Laurence Carrier added 13, and Jayden Cross chipped in with nine.
