GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Great Barrington Police Department will hold two open houses in May.

 

The first open house will be scheduled for Sunday, May 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A second one will be scheduled for Sunday, May 22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

 

According to a press release, the open houses will allow residents to meet police officers, tour the police cruisers, see the inside of the police department, and meet the department's comfort dog Beko.

 

Ice cream will also be available from SoCo Creamery.

 

The press release also noted that the department is also collecting non-perishable items to stock local food pantries. They welcome donations.
