It is starting to feel like summer in the Berkshires.

Temperatures are expected to breach the 80s today. According to Accuweather, temperatures are expected to top out around 82 degrees in North Adams and Pittsfield.

Steve Caporizzo agrees.

"The Next 48 Hours-Get ready for Summer....and the WARMEST Weather in over 8 months!" he wrote on Twitter.

At night temperatures should hit a low of 55 degrees.

There should be more of the like this week, however, there is a chance of thunderstorms Thursday and a 40 percent chance of rain (oh how we need it).

Accuweather reports that temperatures will max out at 85 degrees. The skies will be cloudy and folks can expect a thundershower in spots in the afternoon. The same was predicted in Central and South County.

Friday looks sunny throughout the county with temperatures in the low to mid 80s. There is a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Saturday also should bring temperatures in the low 80s. Accuweather warns that thunderstorms are still possible.

In Pittsfield, temperatures aren't expected to go above 76.

Accuweather predicts rain in North Adams Sunday. Temperatures will be in the low 80s and there are a couple of showers expected throughout the afternoon. This surely will help the situation on East Mountain.

There is less rain predicted for Central and South County but showers can still be expected.
