Drury's McGrath Leads Springfield College Offense

Drury High graduate Kayla McGrath has a team-high eight goals for the Springfield College women's soccer team this fall.   Last week, she scored both Pride goals in a 2-0 win over Wellesley.   McGrath's two game-winning goals this season is currently seventh in the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference.   She has played 29 games and has 10 starts over the last two seasons for Springfield, which was 8-4-5 overall (6-2-3 in the NEWMAC) in the regular season and opens the conference tournament on Tuesday against Smith.   Westfield State senior Michaella Moncecchi (Wahconah) has appeared in three games with one start in goal for the Owls, stopping

Bidwell House Museum Candlelight Tours

BArT Announces First Quarter Honor Roll

2023 Winter Parking Ban Announcements

Community Legal Aid Kicks Off Berkshire County Access to Justice Campaign

Ventfort Hall: Haunted Hall

BAV Expands Local Meat Processing Support Program

GREAT BARRINGTON — Berkshire Agricultural Ventures (BAV) announced two milestones in its mission to bolster the regional food supply chain.

The opening of the BAV/AgriForaging Food Safety Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) Hotline and a visit by the USDA to both Plymouth Meats, a regional meat processor in Terryville, Conn, and to BAV's headquarters in Great Barrington, showcased the organization's commitment to promoting sustainable and resilient meat processing practices across the Berkshire-Taconic region; just one portion of BAV's work towards bolstering the local food economy.
