Simon's Rock: Concert Commemorating Black History Month

Pavement and Bridge Repair Operations in Lee

LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced it will be conducting daytime pavement repair operations and nighttime bridge repair work on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Lee, Montgomery and Russell.    The work will be conducted at different times and locations from 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, through 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 23.  Lane closures will be in place during repair operations.    The schedule for the work and lane closures will be as follows:   Lee Pavement repair operations will be conducted daily on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 8.0 to mile marker 10.0 on Tuesday, Feb. 21, Wednesday,

Resilient Stormwater Action Plan Update

Simon's Rock is a Top Producer of Fulbright Scholars

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. —The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs named Bard College at Simon's Rock a Fulbright Top Producing Institution for U.S. Scholars.    This recognition is given to the U.S. colleges and universities that received the highest number of applicants selected for the 2022-23 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program.   Most recently, Simon's Rock alumna Chazlee Myers was awarded an English Teaching Assistant (ETA) grant by the US-Italy Fulbright Commission to provide assistance to local English teachers in Italy and act as a cultural ambassador for the U.S from October 2022 to June 2023. Southern Berkshire Regional Residents Express Merger Concerns

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – Sawyer Moser Monday scored 20 points to lead the Berkshire Arts and Technology Charter Public School basketball team to a 58-40 win over Hadley's Hartsbrook School in the River Valley Athletic League tournament.   The Wolf Pack used a 15-2 run in the first quarter to take control of the game, and the margin never dipped below 12 points the rest of the way.   Corey Lynch scored 15, and Matt Lizzo scored 11 for BArT in a game played at the Armory.
