BAAMS Appoints New Board, Expands Programming

WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. The Berkshires' Academy for Advanced Musical Studies, Inc. (BAAMS) announced the addition of a new Board of Directors and eBAAMS PLUS.    Richard Boulger, Founder, Executive and Artistic Director of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, said he is delighted with the new leadership change.   "I could not be more thrilled to have a new board that is impassioned and truly understands the value, mission, and importance of BAAMS. Last week, investors suffered through the gloom and doom of a declining market. Many Wall Street equity strategists added to the angst by predicting terrible times ahead. I begged to differ, counting on dip buyers to save the day once again. And that is exactly what happened.   In case you missed it, last Friday, the S&P 500 Index was at an important level, hovering just below its 50 Day Moving Average (DMA). NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jamie Ducharme, an author and TIME magazine correspondent, will be Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts' 2021 Public Policy lecturer.    She'll speak at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 7, at the college's Church Street Center Auditorium. MCLA-Pittsfield to Feature Ian Mosher as October Artist of the Month
