LENOX, Mass. — Generations of Mount Everett Regional School alum gathered Saturday to celebrate their latest members: The class of 2025. It was noted that despite the clouds, there was a lot of sunshine on the Tanglewood stage as 37 students received diplomas. SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Mount Everett Regional School has announced that Catherine Makuc has been named valedictorian, and Sage Marchione has been named salutatorian of the class of 2025. Makuc and Marchione will graduate on Saturday, June 7, with ceremonies beginning at 10 a.m. at Tanglewood in Lenox. Both will speak at the 148th graduation exercises of Lee High School at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at Tanglewood. Molino is the daughter of Karen and Nicholas Molino of Lee. PITTSFIELD, Mass. – A local fund-raiser for the Jimmy Fund keeps getting bigger and bigger. Striking out Cancer in the Berkshires returns for a fifth year on Saturday, June 28, on Buddy Pellerin Field at Clapp Park. Organizer Joe DiCicco, who started the event in 2021 in honor of his late wife, never expected to still be planning for the event five years later. “It is amazing,” he said recently. “I just didn’t know what to expect five years ago, but every year it gets bigger.” And it gets more successful.
