John Giorgi Basketball League Monday Update

Flynn Dagnoli / Deeep Insurance defeated Adams Co-Op Monday night 79-78. The loss hurts Co-Op's playoff chances as they dropped to 2-5 a game behind IBPO for the final spot. Nate Robertson was the leading scorer for Flynn's with 22 points while Ron Kelly added 16 points and seven rebounds and Taylor Epley chipped in with 14 points. For Adams Co-Op it was Robie Burke with 22 points and seven rebounds and Chad Polver also scored 22 points.


Dalty Martinelli had a double double last night, with 12 points and 11 rebounds.and Nick Aitken scored 11 points and pulled down eight rebounds as Messenger's defeated Moonlight 41-36. Mike Rossi also scored 10 points for Messengers while Johm

Central Radio beat Moulton's last night 60-44. For Central Radio it was Dave Wellington leading the way with 25 points followed by Sean Trottier with 11. For Moulton's Kevin Shaker hit five three pointers and went on to score 21 points while Pete Prieto chipped in with nine.

Mike Culpo and Robbie Burke had a shoot out on Sunday night, with Burke winning the scoring battle but Culpo's team winning the game. It was IBPO 77 and Adams Co-Op 74. Culpo had 33 points including seven three pointers, while teammate Chris Bravo and Jon Gauttuso each had 13 points. Chris also had 10 rebounds. Williamstown Physical Theropy knocked Bob Heck Entertainment out of first place with a 66-62 win on Thursday night. Alia Curry led the way with 16 points and Danielle Racette added 13 points. For Bob Heck Entertainment it was Meredith Sullivan and Erin Leonard with 17 points apiece and Hollie Sadowy recorded a double double with 13 points and 17 rebounds. She also had three blocked shots.

Trevor Alibozek led Hoosac Valley to a 56-45 win over McCann. Alibozek had 16 points and 11 rebounds while Shawn Ryan Kut contributed 12 points. For McCann it ws Josh Superneau with 11 points and Mitch Zajec with 10 points and seven rebounds.

Shaq Ardrey lead the Running Rebels to a 66-44 win over Drury last night in the high school division. Ardrey scored a game high 21 points. Kyle reardon added 14 points and six rebounds. For Drury Isaiah Pontoja led with 11 points four rebounds and a blocked shot and Cam Parrino chipped in with nine points, four rebounds and a blocked shot.

Nick Andrews had a big game for the Hub scoring 28 points and grabbing nine rebounds as The Hub beat S & S Auto Care 52-45. For S & S, John Decker had 10 points and three rebounds.

Alia Cury scored a game high 26 points as Willamstown Physical Theropy put a beating on Freight Yard Pub last night 65-21. Stephanie Miranti and Danielle Racette scored 13 and 12 respectively. For Freight Yard Pub it was Rachelle Klammer with seven points.

Ashley Dapoli sank two free throws in the final seconds of the game to give the Mountainetts the 26-24 win over Elm Street Service / Pizza House, and moved themselves into a first place tie with Bob Heck Entertainment in the womans division. Abby Jackson led the way with 11 points and 11 rebounds while Erica Cahoon had a game high 14 points, to go with four rebounds to lead Elm Street Service.
