Francis A. Wojcik, 72

DALTON, Mass. —  



Mr. Francis A. Wojcik, 72, of Dalton, died peacefully on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his family. He was born in Adams on January 9, 1950, a son of the late Frank A. and Monica C. (Paciorek) Wojcik. He attended Adams schools and graduated from the former St. Joseph’s High School in North Adams. He later graduated from the Drafting program at C.H. McCann Technical School, North Adams. Fran last worked as a sales representative at Bedard Bros. Auto Sales in Cheshire for 14 years until his retirement. Earlier, he was a designer and owner of TOG Machine Co. in Pittsfield. He had also worked at the former Marland Mold in Pittsfield for several years. He was a member of the Berkshire Radio Controlled Flying Club, and enjoyed flying radio-controlled aircraft, riding his motorcycle, and building his wooden model ship from scratch, crafting all the parts by hand. Fran is survived by his wife of 50 years, the former Susan J. Wojeick, whom he married on October 28, 1972; two daughters, Becky Mallady and her husband, Dan, of Dalton, and Jen Wojcik of Pittsfield; five grandchildren, Kailani, Shaymus, Jameson, Noah, and Ireland; a brother, Joseph Wojcik and his wife, Debbie, of Port St. Lucie, FL; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Peter J. Wojcik, on May 7, 2021. The funeral will be held on Friday, June 17th, at 11:30 AM from the PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St. Adams, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are Friday morning from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM in the funeral home.
