Ryan Shook threw three shutout innings Sunday to lead the Housatonic River Monsters to a 4-2 win over the Great Barrington Millers in the Berkshire Adult Baseball League.
Shook helped his cause with a double and a run batted in at the plate. Jake Simon also drove in a run for Housatonic.
Tyler Spofford went 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Spencer Cookson doubled in a run for Great Barrington.
Housatonic improved to 5-4 this summer.
Over-35-League
BBA 11, Berkshire Devils 2
Carter Matthews went 4-for-4, and Hunter Potash was 3-for-4 at the plate to lead BBA.
Christian Robitaille was 2-for-3 with three RBIs for BBA, which got eight strikeouts over four innings from pitcher Joe Gratton.
Jake Hall threw 3-2/3 innings of shutout relief and went 1-for-2 at the plate for the Devils.
Adams Aces 10, Tunnel City 0
Jeremy Broadwell allowed two hits in four innings to earn the win on the mound.
Corey Swistak went 3-for-4 with three RBIs, and Matt Larabee and Matt Ziter each had a pair of hits in the win.
Jonathan Boucher, Jared Martin and Jim Ciepiela each had a hit for Tunnel City.
Berkshire Thunder 5, Dalton Moneymakers 1
Paul McBride went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and Brad Shove drove in a run for the Thunder.
Seamus Morrison earned the win on the mound, allowing just four hits. He also went 2-for-4 at the plate.
Jarrett Bayliss, Tom Wehner and Reid Warner each had a hit for the Moneymakers.
Pittsfield Pirates 12, Spiders 3
Darren Jefferson went 3-for-3 with a triple and a home run to lead the Pirates to victory.
Jefferson drove in six runs for Pittsfield, which got three hits, including a triple, from Johnny Goodnow.
Elmar Uy went the distance to earn the win on the mound, striking out five.
Ken Souza and Jeff Boyd each had a pair of hits for the Spiders.
