The US National Weather Service has released a Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 pm Tuesday, Feb. 7,  morning to 1 am Wednesday morning.

 

Expect mixed precipitation with snow and sleet accumulation of up to one inch. Ice accumulation should be a light glaze.

 

Precipitation will start as a mix of snow and rain, transitioning into sleet mixing with freezing rain. Precipitation will taper off into a drizzle towards midnight Tuesday.

 

Plan for slippery road conditions

 

Temperatures will be warmer in the 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

On Thursday, Feb. 9, Accuweather predicts some snow without a significant accumulation. There will be a high of 45.

 

Friday will be the nicest day of the week. Expect partly sunny skies with a high of 50.

 

Temperatures will be in the low 40s this weekend with partly sunny skies.
