LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing crews will be conducting overnight and daytime paving operations and bridge, guardrail, and drainage repair work on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Montgomery, Russell, Lee, Becket, and West Stockbridge. 

 

The scheduled work will require some lane and shoulder closures, and is scheduled to take place as follows:

 

Montgomery/Russell

Bridge repair work will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 36 from Sunday, July 9, to Friday, July 14, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.  All work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14.

 

Lee/Becket

Pavement milling operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 14.0 to mile marker 19, from Monday, July 10, to Friday, July 14, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.  All work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14.

   

Lee  

Guardrail repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 8.3 to mile marker 14, from Monday, July 10, to Friday, July 14, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning.  All work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14.

 

Bridge repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 9.4, from Monday, July 10, to Friday, July 14, during overnight hours from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the following morning. All work is anticipated to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, July 14.

 

West Stockbridge

Drainage repair operations will be conducted daily at I-90 eastbound and westbound from mile marker 0 to mile marker 2.5, from Monday, July 10 to Wednesday, July 12, during daytime hours from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All work is anticipated to conclude by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12.

 

Drainage repair operations will be conducted daily at I-90 eastbound from mile marker 0 to mile marker 2.5, on Wednesday, July 12, through Friday, July 14, during daytime hours from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All work is anticipated to conclude by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14.

 

Traffic will be allowed through the work zones. 

 

The work will require temporary lane closures to allow crews to safely conduct the paving, and bridge and guardrail repair operations.

 

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
