LEE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced that crews will be conducting overnight hour pavement marking, slope repair, guardrail, and bridge repair operations on I-90 eastbound and westbound in Lee, Becket, West Stockbridge and Stockbridge. 

 

The work will be conducted at various times and locations from Monday, Aug. 21, through Friday, Aug. 25. Lane closures will be in place during repair operations and traffic will be able to travel through the work zones.

 

The schedule for the work and lane closures will be as follows:

 

Lee/Becket

Pavement marking and slope repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 14.0 and mile marker 21.8 from Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25.

 

Lee

Guardrail repair work will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 8.3 and mile marker 10.3 from Monday, August 21, through Friday, August 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25.

 

Bridge repairs will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 8.4 on Monday, August 21, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22.

 

West Stockbridge

Bridge repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound near mile marker 0.6 from Tuesday, August 22, through Friday, August 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25.

 

Stockbridge

Bridge repair operations will be conducted nightly on I-90 eastbound and westbound near mile marker 7.5 from Tuesday, August 22, through Friday, August 25, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 25.

 

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

 

Drivers who are traveling through the affected areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.
