STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that crews will be conducting nighttime and daytime milling, guardrail, bridge repair, and erosion control work at various locations on I-90 eastbound and westbound, Monday, August 26, through Friday, August 30.
Lane closures will be in place during the construction operations, and traffic will be able to travel through the work zones. All work will conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
The schedule for the work and lane closures is as follows:
Otis/Blandford
Milling operations will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 23.0 to 27.0 from Monday night, August 26, through Thursday night, August 29, from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
Bridge work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 22.5 from Monday night, August 26, through Thursday night, August 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
Stockbridge/West Stockbridge
Guardrail work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 1.0 to 3.0 from Monday night, August 26, through Thursday night, August 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 westbound from mile marker 4.0 to 6.5 from Monday night, August 26, through Thursday night, August 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
Erosion control work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound from mile marker 4.0 to 8.0 from Monday night, August 26, through Thursday night, August 29, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the next morning. The work is expected to conclude by 5:00 a.m. on Friday, August 30.
West Stockbridge
Bridge repair work will be conducted on I-90 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 0.6 from Monday, August 26, through Wednesday, August 28, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
