As I reflect on the past 22 years serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, I do so with immense pride and gratitude. Together with my colleagues, I have had the privilege of contributing to landmark legislation that has defined our commonwealth, from marriage equality to health care for all — both of which became national models.    I've worked on major environmental, economic development, and housing bond bills that continue to benefit the Berkshires and will for years to come.   Of course, none of this was accomplished single-handedly. Tri-Town Health Department Relocation

LEE, Mass. — The Tri-Town Health Department offices will be closed to the public from Jan. 2, 2025, through Jan. 10, 2025, as the department and its offices will relocate to Stockbridge Town Offices (50 Main Street Stockbridge).   While staff will be working and available by phone and email, the online permitting system will be accessible. Berkshire Bach Society Brings 'Bach at New Year's' to Mahaiwe

Fairview Hospital Receives $1M Donation for Laboratory Renovation

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass — Berkshire Health Systems (BHS) has announced it has received a donation of $1 million to support the relocation and renovation of the Fairview Hospital Clinical Laboratory in order to better serve inpatient, outpatient and Emergency Department needs.    The new Laboratory will be named in honor of Eugene A. Hoffmann Bird Club Hosts Annual Christmas Bird Count

'Today' Show Visiting Stockbridge

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. — Look out for lights and cameras as NBC's "Today" show previews the famed Stockbridge Main Street at Christmas event.   The morning show will be at the Red Lion Inn on Friday morning as part of its "Merriest Main Street" holiday feature.
